Convector electric Blaupunkt HCO701

The Blaupunkt HCO701 convector electric space heater provides 2000 W of heating power and is designed for indoor floor placement. With a heating capacity for rooms up to 22 m², the heater uses convection: air is drawn in from the bottom, warmed by fins and air tunnels, and then evenly dispersed throughout the room. Additional side plates accumulate heat to improve temperature stability and continue releasing warmth after the heater is turned off. Electronic thermostat control, an LCD display and a remote control allow precise temperature management, while a 24-hour timer enables delayed switch-on or switch-off.

Advantages

The HCO701 model features a special design with additional side panels and internal air tunnels that enhance the convection effect and improve heat distribution for faster and more uniform room heating. Electronic thermostat control with three power levels plus Eco mode stabilises the set temperature and reduces unnecessary energy use. Safety is provided by an automatic tip-over switch and an overheat protection switch. The unit is practically inaudible in operation and includes an LCD display and remote control for convenient adjustment.

Suitable for

• Heating small to medium indoor rooms up to 22 m²

How to use

Place the heater on a flat, stable floor surface with sufficient clearance from furniture and curtains. Connect to a compatible 220–240 V outlet and set the desired temperature using the electronic thermostat or remote control. Choose one of three power levels or Eco mode to match heating needs; Eco mode will automatically cycle the heater to maintain the set temperature with reduced energy use. Use the 24-hour timer to schedule delayed switch-on or switch-off. If the unit tips over or reaches an unsafe temperature, the safety switches will cut power automatically.

Recommendations

For best results, use the HCO701 as supplementary heating in rooms up to 22 m² and allow a short warm-up period to let convection distribute heat. Keep the area around the heater clear, avoid covering it, and use Eco mode or the timer to reduce energy consumption during night-time or unattended operation.
