Controller gateway Fanvil PA2S

Fanvil PA2S is a compact SIP paging gateway that uses IP/RTP/RTSP for media streaming. It integrates multiple functional interfaces—broadcasting, recording, intercom and security—allowing connection of external devices for audio/video intercom, triggered alarms and other functions. Small size and industrial-oriented design make it suitable for embedding into equipment and for DIY integrated solutions in scenarios such as campuses, hospitals, industrial parks and airports.

Advantages

The device supports SIP unified communication for deployment in LAN and WAN environments, preserving equipment investment value. It provides HD audio with wideband codecs (G.722 and Opus) for clear, far-reaching sound suitable for large public areas. PA2S supports live streaming and MP3 playback from external sources (microphones, mobile phones, FM, speakers) and offers wide scalability via input/output interfaces to trigger alarms, barriers and other devices. It also supports HD video linkage so users can view camera images on IP phones for real-time monitoring.

Key specifications

• Protocol: SIP; media streaming via IP/RTP/RTSP
• Audio codecs: G.722, Opus (wideband)
• Functions: broadcast, recording, intercom, security trigger
• External interfaces: microphone, mobile phone input, FM, passive/active speaker support
• I/O: input/output interfaces for infrared probes, switches and alarm/device triggering
• Video: HD video linkage to IP phones
• Form factor: compact, industrial aesthetic for embedding and DIY applications

How to use

Connect the PA2S to your IP network and configure SIP settings for your LAN or WAN environment. Attach external audio sources (microphone, phone, FM) and speakers as needed for live or MP3 broadcasting. Use the input/output ports to connect infrared sensors, switches or alarm devices to enable automated triggers such as lights, barriers or remote door opening. If video monitoring is required, connect compatible cameras and view HD video on supported IP phones through the PA2S video linkage feature.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the PA2S firmware and your SIP server are up to date, use proper cabling and mount the device within a ventilated area. Test audio levels and codec settings (G.722 or Opus) for optimal clarity in your specific deployment area. For integration with alarms and barriers, verify compatibility of connected sensors and actuators with the PA2S I/O specifications.
