Conector de cablu Gardena 1282-20 gri

The Gardena 1282-20 wire connector is a single grey connector designed for use in 24V low-voltage systems commonly found in garden irrigation and outdoor lighting setups. Its compact housing and durable construction provide a reliable electrical joint for cable connections in confined or exposed locations. Intended as a component for watering the garden and associated outdoor systems, the connector supports routine installation and maintenance tasks where a secure, weather-resistant electrical link is required.

Advantages

This wire connector offers a compact form factor that fits into tight spaces and installation boxes. The durable materials used in the housing resist outdoor conditions, while the design ensures consistent electrical contact in 24V systems. Sold individually, it allows targeted replacement or extension of existing runs without requiring larger multi-piece kits. The simple shape and single-piece construction reduce installation complexity and help maintain tidy cable routing.

Key specifications

• Rated voltage: 24 V (suitable for low-voltage garden systems)
• Color: grey
• Quantity: single piece
• Housing: compact, suitable for tight spaces
• Application environment: outdoor/garden use

How to use

Strip the insulation from the cable ends to the length recommended by the connector manufacturer, insert wires into the connector until they seat securely, and ensure firm contact. Mount the connector in a protected location where possible, avoiding direct mechanical stress on the cable-connector junction. If used outdoors, place the connector in a junction box or under a protective cover to reduce exposure to direct weather. Verify the connection by powering the 24V circuit and checking for correct operation of connected valves or lights.

Recommendations

Use this connector only within 24V low-voltage systems and with cable types compatible with the connector's contact design. For outdoor installations, combine with appropriate sealing or enclosures to prevent prolonged water ingress and to extend service life. Replace the connector if corrosion or loose contact is observed.
