How to use

Strip the outer jacket of the round Cat5e cable to the required length, arrange the conductor pairs according to the chosen wiring scheme (568A or 568B), and insert the wires fully into the modular plug. Use an appropriate crimping tool for shielded RJ45 plugs to secure the contacts and, if applicable, attach the plug shield. Slide the bend protection sleeve over the terminated connector to protect the cable exit and strain relief. Verify connections with a cable tester before use.

Recommendations

Use a compatible crimping tool rated for shielded RJ45 connectors and test each terminated cable for continuity and pairing. Store the plugs and sleeves in a dry environment to prevent corrosion of shield contacts and ensure best performance.
