Comutator video HDMI ShiverPeaks SP05-02002

The ShiverPeaks SP05-02002 HDMI video switch enables seamless selection between multiple HDMI sources and delivers high-resolution video output up to 2160p. Encased in a durable metal housing with a black finish, the compact unit is designed for steady operation in home theater and gaming environments. With low power consumption and a 5V external adapter input, the switch integrates into AV setups without drawing significant energy or occupying much space.

Advantages

The device supports high-definition video up to 2160p, ensuring compatibility with modern 4K displays and media players. Its metal construction provides mechanical durability and improved heat dissipation compared with plastic alternatives. Low power consumption (approximately 2W during operation) reduces energy use and helps maintain cooler operation. The compact footprint makes it easy to place near TVs, monitors, or AV receivers, and the simple switching functionality minimizes configuration time.

Suitable for

• Home theater systems where multiple HDMI sources need to be managed
• Gaming consoles and PCs connected to a single display
• Small office or meeting-room AV setups requiring easy input selection
• Media players, set-top boxes and streaming devices sharing one HDMI display

Key specifications

• Video resolution support: up to 2160p (4K)
• Housing material: metal with black finish
• Power consumption: approximately 2 W
• Power input: external 5 V adapter
• Form factor: compact desktop switch

How to use

Connect each HDMI source (for example, a console, media player or PC) to the switch input ports and connect the switch output to your TV or monitor HDMI input. Plug the provided 5V adapter into the switch and a mains outlet to power the unit. Use the device’s input-selection control to switch between connected sources; the selected source is routed to the display at the supported resolution automatically. No complex setup or software installation is required—basic cable connections and power are sufficient.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K output, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for the required bandwidth and ensure connected source devices and the display support the chosen resolution and refresh rate. Place the switch in a well-ventilated area to allow heat dissipation from the metal housing, and avoid stacking heavy equipment on top of the unit. If you experience handshake or resolution detection issues, power-cycle the switch and connected devices, or reconnect cables to re-establish HDMI communication.
