Clește tăietor de cablu Gedore 1829017

The Gedore 1829017 cable cutter is a lightweight precision tool for cutting small-diameter copper cables. It features a wide, needle-point head with cutting edges angled at 21° and no bevel, allowing clean, controlled cuts of copper wire up to 1.3 mm (AWG 16). The tool weighs approximately 86 g and is constructed from durable materials for regular use.

Advantages

The angled 21° cutting edges and needle-point head enable accurate, burr-free cuts without fraying the conductor. Its low weight and ergonomic profile support comfortable handling during repetitive tasks. Robust construction ensures long service life under normal working conditions.

How to use

Place the copper wire into the cutter's cutting zone near the base of the needle-point head. Squeeze the handles firmly and evenly until the cutting edges fully close and sever the conductor. For the cleanest result position the wire perpendicular to the blades and avoid twisting or pulling while cutting. Inspect the cut end to ensure there is no fraying before connecting.

Recommendations

Use the cutter only on copper conductors within the specified maximum diameter (1.3 mm / AWG 16). Do not attempt to cut hardened steel, large-diameter cables, or wires with insulation containing metallic reinforcements. Keep cutting edges clean and periodically check for wear; replace the tool if cutting performance degrades.
