Cititor de coduri de bare portabil Datalogic POWERSCAN PD9100

The PowerScan PD9130 is a corded handheld linear imager from Datalogic designed for reliable 1D barcode capture in industrial environments. It uses an advanced green scanning line to combine the definition of a laser beam with the advantages of an imager. The scanner includes Datalogic’s 3 Green Lights (3GL) feedback system, a patented Green Spot projected directly onto the code, and dual Good Read LEDs on the top cap to improve read confirmation visibility. The housing is ergonomically shaped, lightweight and balanced for extended, scan-intensive use, while the mechanical design is built and tested to withstand harsh conditions without degrading performance. All models offer multi-interface wired connectivity including RS-232, USB and Keyboard Wedge.

Advantages

The PowerScan PD9130 provides precise and fast 1D barcode reading with the clarity of a green scanning line and strong visual feedback via Green Spot and 3GL. Its rugged construction and environmental sealing help maintain consistent performance in dusty or wet industrial settings. The ergonomic, lightweight enclosure reduces operator fatigue during prolonged use, and multi-interface support ensures broad compatibility with existing host systems.

How to use

Connect the PowerScan PD9130 to your host system using the appropriate wired interface (RS-232, USB or Keyboard Wedge). Hold the scanner comfortably and position the green scanning line over the 1D barcode. Pull the trigger to activate the imager; visual confirmation is provided by the Green Spot on the code and the 3GL/dual Good Read LEDs. Adjust distance and angle as needed for different barcode sizes and surface conditions to achieve consistent reads.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the scanner window clean and maintain an appropriate read distance based on barcode density. Use the Green Spot and top LEDs to confirm successful reads at various angles; select the wired interface compatible with your system for reliable communications. If operating in wet or dusty environments, verify sealing and mounting to preserve performance.
