Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for use with PX240S and PD45S thermal printers
• Printing technology: thermal print head for thermal transfer and direct thermal media
• Print width: matches media width supported by the compatible printer models
• Durability: engineered for regular print cycles and reduced wear under normal operating conditions
• Mounting: straightforward installation and alignment features to ensure correct seating in the printer carriage

How to use

Power off the printer and open the printhead access cover before beginning replacement. Remove the old print head following the printer manufacturer’s service procedure, handle the new print head by its non-contact areas to avoid contaminating the thermal surface, and position it into the carriage ensuring proper alignment with the platen roller and media path. Secure mounting screws or latches as required, close the access cover, power on the printer and run a media calibration and test print to verify correct installation and print quality.

Recommendations

Use compatible ribbons and label media recommended for PX240S and PD45S printers, keep the thermal surface clean from dust and adhesive residue by performing periodic gentle cleaning with approved solvents, and schedule replacement at the first sign of repeated print defects or damage to prevent downtime.
