Cablu patch InLine 72502P SF/UTP Cat5e 2 m violet

The InLine Patch Cable 72502P SF/UTP Cat5e 2m in purple is a Category 5e twisted-pair network cable for connecting devices with RJ45 ports, such as switches, routers, wall sockets, patch panels and network cards. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gb/s) at a maximum frequency of 125 MHz and incorporates SF/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining reliable data transmission over a 2 m length.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference compared with unshielded cables. The Cat5e specification supports Gigabit speeds up to 1 Gb/s at 125 MHz, and the 2 m length offers a compact, manageable connection for rack, desktop or wall-mounted equipment. The purple jacket makes identification in structured cabling systems easier.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers
• Patch panels and wall sockets to active network devices
• Network cards in desktop or server systems
• Short runs in office or home network installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.5e (twisted pair)
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil overall with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Data rate: up to 1 Gb/s
• Maximum frequency: 125 MHz
• Length: 2 m
• Connector: RJ45
• Colour: Purple
• Manufacturer: InLine, MPN 72502P, EAN 4043718025190

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of the source device (for example a switch or router) and the other RJ45 connector into the destination device (for example a patch panel, wall socket or network card). Ensure connectors click into place and that cable routing avoids sharp bends or heavy compression. For best performance keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power cables or fluorescent ballast units.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e SF/UTP patch cable for short to medium runs where modest shielding is required; for environments with very high interference or where higher than Gigabit speeds are needed, consider upgrading to Cat6/Cat6a or fully shielded S/FTP solutions.
