Cablu patch CAT5E U/UTP cu liță, ivory, 100 m, ACT

ACT CAT5E U/UTP Stranded Patch Cable, 100 m, ivory (beige) — a flexible network cable designed for standard Ethernet installations. The cable uses four pairs of stranded copper conductors (AWG24) arranged as Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White and Brown/White, with a 4 x 2 x 0.14 mm2 construction suitable for patching and horizontal cabling in offices and data closets.

Advantages

The stranded AWG24 conductors provide improved flexibility for routing and easier termination in patch panels and wall outlets. U/UTP (unshielded) construction reduces cost and weight while remaining suitable for typical office and home network environments. The 100 m spool length minimizes joins and keeps installations tidy, and the ivory (beige) color integrates unobtrusively into many interiors.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patching between switches, routers and wall jacks
• Horizontal cabling in offices and small data rooms
• Temporary or movable network connections where cable flexibility is needed

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 100 m spool, strip the outer jacket and separate the pairs following the standard wiring scheme required (T568A or T568B). Terminate with appropriate RJ45 plugs or punch down into patch panels and keystone jacks, taking care to maintain pair twists as close to the termination point as possible to preserve signal integrity. Test each link after installation to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines or near strong sources of electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations requiring higher immunity to interference, consider shielded cable types; for flexible patch and temporary runs, this stranded U/UTP CAT5E cable is appropriate. Store the spool on a flat surface and avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius.
