Cablu DisplayPort 1.2 activ Lindy 20 m

The Lindy Active DisplayPort 1.2 cable (20 m) provides reliable long-distance DisplayPort transmission by using an integrated active chipset located in the centre of the cable. Designed with a slim, flexible 7 mm diameter jacket and DisplayPort connectors at both ends, it supports DisplayPort 1.2 signals up to 4K at 60 Hz and 8-channel audio. The cable is RoHS, CE, FCC and REACH compliant and is suitable for concealed installations through conduits or behind walls where a discreet, high-quality connection is required.

Advantages

Active signal amplification inside the cable enables transmission over distances not possible with passive DisplayPort cables, removing the need for external repeaters or extenders. The cable is bi-directional, avoiding the connector-direction limitations of some active DP cables and simplifying installation. Support for the REC.2020 colour space and DisplayPort 1.2 ensures compatibility with professional displays and monitors while preserving colour gamut and HDR-capable content.

Suitable for

• Long-run connections between PCs and commercial displays or monitors
• Digital signage and retail display installations
• Educational and corporate presentation systems
• Concealed or in-wall wiring where flexibility and durability are required

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.2
• Maximum resolution: up to 4K (3840×2160) at 60 Hz
• Audio: 8-channel support

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (for example a PC) and the other connector to the target display or monitor. The cable is bi-directional so it does not require a specific orientation for source and display ends. Route the cable through conduits or behind walls as needed, using the flexible 7 mm jacket to facilitate installation. Ensure connected devices are set to output DisplayPort 1.2 to achieve the stated resolution and audio capabilities.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable and allow some slack near connectors. This cable does not support DisplayPort daisy-chaining with certain Lenovo displays; verify display compatibility before deployment.
