Cablu HDMI Vivolink OPTIC 4K, 40 m

The Vivolink OPTIC HDMI 4K Cable (40 m) is a high-performance optical HDMI cable designed for long-distance transmission of high-resolution video and audio. It supports HDMI 2.0 features including 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, HDR 12-bit, HDCP 2.2, 3D and ARC, with a data bandwidth of up to 18 Gbit/s. The cable has slim 4.0 mm construction, gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors and a black exterior, making it suitable for installations that require reliable signal integrity over extended runs.

Advantages

The cable combines optical transmission with HDMI 2.0 compatibility to deliver stable 4K/60Hz performance at distances up to 40 m while maintaining full 4:4:4 chroma and HDR 12-bit support. Gold-plated connectors improve contact quality and reduce signal loss. Its slim 4.0 mm profile simplifies routing through tight spaces and conduit. The cable also supports HDCP2.2 copy protection, 3D formats and ARC for audio return functionality.

Suitable for

• Long-distance 4K video distribution in conference rooms and auditoriums
• Connecting 4K/60Hz sources (Blu-ray, media players, PCs) to displays or projectors
• Installations requiring slim cable routing through cable ducts and tight passages
• Setups needing HDCP2.2 and HDR-capable transmission

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, media streamer or PC) and the other HDMI Type A end to the HDMI input of the display or projector. Ensure both devices are set to output and accept 4K/60Hz and HDR if required. Route the slim 4.0 mm cable through conduits or cable channels as needed, taking care to avoid excessive bending near the connectors. The cable’s tensile strength is rated at 20 kg; avoid pulling beyond this limit during installation.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that source and display devices support HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and HDR. Use proper strain relief at connection points and avoid sharp bends. If encountering handshake or HDR issues, power-cycle connected devices and check cable seating. The slim optical cable is intended for fixed installations and long runs rather than frequent plugging and unplugging.
