Cablu VGA Equip HD15, 5m

The equip® VGA Cable (HD15, 5 m) provides a reliable wired connection for transmitting analog video between VGA-equipped devices such as monitors, projectors and PCs. The cable features standard HD15 (VGA/D-Sub) connectors on both ends, a durable black jacket and integrated ferrite beads to reduce electromagnetic interference during signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable uses sturdy knurled screws for secure fastening to VGA ports, ferrite beads for improved signal integrity and a 5 m length that allows flexible placement of displays and projectors without signal degradation when used within VGA analog limits. It is RoHS compliant and lightweight for easy handling and installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to external monitors
• Linking laptops with VGA output to projectors
• Extending video signal to a display in meeting rooms or classrooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: VGA (HD15 / D-Sub) to VGA (HD15 / D-Sub)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.282 kg
• Compliance: RoHS
• Brand / MPN: EQUIP / 118812

How to use

Align the HD15 connector pins with the VGA port on each device, gently insert the connector and tighten the knurled screws by hand until secure. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid potential signal issues. After connection, power on the source and the display and select the appropriate input on the monitor or projector.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid routing the cable near strong sources of electromagnetic noise (large power supplies or unshielded cables). If using long runs or splitting signals, verify display resolution and refresh rate compatibility with VGA analog limits and consider using a signal booster or switching to a digital connection if higher resolutions are required.
