Cablu serial InLine DB9 mamă / mamă direct 3m

The InLine serial cable DB9 female / female direct 3m is a 3-meter beige data cable with DB9 female connectors on both ends. It is designed for connecting peripheral devices or data switches to a PC or server and provides a straightforward wired serial connection for devices using the DB9 interface.

Advantages

This DB9 female-to-female cable offers a direct serial connection with standard DB9 connectors on both ends, a 3 m length that allows flexible placement of connected equipment, and a neutral beige jacket suitable for office and industrial environments. The cable supports reliable transmission for serial devices that use the RS-232 DB9 interface.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial peripheral devices (modems, printers, barcode scanners) to PCs or servers
• Linking data switches or serial converters with DB9 ports
• Extending existing DB9 serial connections where a female-to-female link is required

How to use

Connect one DB9 female end of the cable to the DB9 male port of a peripheral device or data switch using an appropriate gender adapter or null-modem adapter if required by the device wiring. Connect the other DB9 female end to the DB9 male serial port on the PC or server. Ensure secure fastening of connector screws to maintain stable contact. Verify serial port settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits) in the host and peripheral devices to match communication requirements.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free from strong electromagnetic interference. If device pinouts differ (null-modem vs straight-through), use the appropriate adapter or a cable with the matching wiring. Avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable to preserve connector integrity and signal quality.
