Cablu SATA DeLOCK 83689 0,2 m violet

The DeLOCK 83689 SATA cable is a 0.2 m purple internal cable designed for connecting SATA devices such as HDDs, SSDs or controller cards to a motherboard or other SATA ports. It uses the SATA III interface and has male connectors on both ends to provide high-speed data transfer and a compact connection option for internal PC builds.

Advantages

The cable is covered with a nylon shield for improved durability and flexibility. Gold-plated metal clips on the connectors ensure secure snapping during connection and corrosion resistance for reliable contacts. Its short 0.2 m length helps reduce cable clutter and improve airflow inside a PC case while offering SATA III performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SSDs to a motherboard
• Connecting internal HDDs to a motherboard
• Linking SATA controller cards to drives
• Compact or cable-managed PC builds where short cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 0.2 m
• Connector gender: male–male
• Product colour: Purple
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 83689

How to use

Connect one male SATA connector to the SATA port on the motherboard or controller card and the other end to the SATA port on the drive (HDD or SSD). Ensure the gold-plated metal clips align with the drive/motherboard latch and snap into place to secure the connection. Handle the cable gently and avoid bending it sharply near the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance and longevity, use the cable for internal SATA III connections at short distances (0.2 m). Keep connections free of dust and ensure both device and motherboard SATA ports are powered and properly seated before data transfer.
