Cablu patch S/FTP VALUE Cat.6a gri 7,0 m

The VALUE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a in grey, 7.0 m, is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 500 MHz. It uses prepared shielded twisted pair (PiMF) construction with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, a moulded kink protection for durability and a flexible jacket suitable for narrow bending. Impedance is 100 Ohm with contact wiring 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Advantages

The cable features full braided shielding with pairs wrapped in aluminium foil (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It provides a cost-effective solution for Cat.6a networks, offers reliable RJ-45 connectivity on both ends, and combines flexibility with reinforced strain relief to withstand frequent handling and tight routing.

Suitable for

• Structured shielded Cat.6a cabling systems
• High-speed LAN connections up to 10 Gbit/s
• Office and home network patching between switches, patch panels and devices
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug of the patch cord to the corresponding RJ-45 port on network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network interfaces. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable avoiding sharp corners and excessive tension; the moulded kink protection helps prevent damage at connector ends. Use within a structured S/FTP Cat.6a system for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For a structured shielded Cat.6a installation, combine this patch cord with VALUE Cat.6a S/FTP solid cable and compatible shielded components such as keystone jacks, wall plates and 19" keystone patch panels to maintain shielding continuity and achieve specified performance.
