Cablu patch S/FTP Dätwyler Cat6 galben 10m

The Dätwyler S/FTP Patch Cable Cat6 in yellow, 10m is a shielded network patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) topology, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable data transmission. The 10 meter length provides flexibility for typical office, data center or home network layouts, while the yellow jacket improves visibility and identification among multiple runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 patch cable combines full pair shielding and individual foil around each twisted pair to minimize external noise and preserve signal integrity over copper links. Its construction supports up to gigabit Ethernet and is suitable for installations requiring consistent throughput and reliable connectivity. The durable outer sheath resists wear from routing and handling, and the bright yellow colour simplifies cable management and fault finding in complex cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment
• Data center horizontal cabling and equipment interconnects
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor: stranded copper
• Jacket colour: yellow
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Typical supported bandwidth: up to 250 MHz

How to use

Route the patch cable between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or wall outlets, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ45 ports until a click is felt. Avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius during installation and leave service loops where appropriate. When running the cable near power lines or electrical equipment, keep separation to reduce potential interference despite the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within typical office or data center temperature and humidity ranges, avoid repeated sharp bending or stretching, and label both ends if used in dense cabling setups. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
