Cablu patch GoodConnections Cat. 5e SF/UTP, roșu, 1 m 855R-010

Network technicians and home users alike need a dependable cable to connect a PC, router, or switch without worrying about interference or signal loss. This 1-meter red patch cable from GoodConnections delivers exactly that: a robust Cat. 5e link with double shielding (SF/UTP) that keeps data flowing at Gigabit speeds even in electrically noisy environments. The snagless molded boots protect the locking tabs during frequent plugging and unplugging, making it a smart choice for both permanent installations and mobile test kits.

Why choose it

The SF/UTP shielding combines a foil wrap around each pair with an overall braid, effectively blocking electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). This means fewer retransmissions, lower latency, and a more stable connection for VoIP, video streaming, or large file transfers. The red jacket not only looks professional but also helps with quick identification in crowded patch panels or server racks. The stranded copper conductors remain flexible even after repeated bending, reducing the risk of breakage compared to solid-core cables.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to wall outlets or switches in offices
• Linking network-attached storage (NAS) devices to routers
• Patch panel to switch connections in server rooms
• Home entertainment setups: smart TVs, game consoles, media players
• Temporary network setups for events, labs, or testing

Good to know

This cable is fully backward compatible with Cat. 5 and Cat. 3 networks, so it works with older hardware while being ready for Gigabit Ethernet. The molded strain relief extends the life of the connector by preventing sharp bends at the cable entry point. Each cable is individually tested to meet TIA/EIA performance standards, ensuring reliable throughput out of the box. With RoHS and CE compliance, it meets strict environmental and safety requirements for use in the EU and beyond.
