Cablu patch Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP, 1,0 m, violet

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP Patch Cable (1.0 m, purple) is a high-performance network patch cord designed for demanding Ethernet environments. Constructed from quality materials and tested to Cat.6A standards, this 1-metre cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to ensure reliable connectivity. The S/FTP shielding (shielded foil around each pair plus overall braid) reduces electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity for 10GBase-T applications.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum cable provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable, low-error transmission at 10 Gbit/s. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the S/FTP construction minimizes crosstalk and external interference. The 1.0 m length and violet colour make the cable suitable for neat, short-length patching in racks and workstations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and high-speed Ethernet links
• Patch panels, switches and wall outlets in data centres and offices
• Short-reach connections between network equipment (1 m)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil per pair + overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Colour: Purple
• Weight: 0.053 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other connector into the target device or port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separate from power cables to reduce interference. For structured cabling, label both ends if needed and use cable management accessories to maintain tidy runs.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable for short, high-speed connections where 10G performance and reduced interference are required; avoid exceeding recommended bend radius and do not use in environments with excessive mechanical stress or outdoor exposure unless additional protection is provided.
