Cablu patch ACT CAT5E U/UTP flexibil verde 100 m

The ACT CAT5E U/UTP Stranded Patch Cable in green is a 100 m reel designed for reliable Ethernet and data connections. This unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) cable contains four pairs of stranded copper conductors with a PVC jacket, providing flexibility for installation in patch panels, wall outlets and device connections. The cable supports Category 5e performance for high-speed local area network applications where standard CAT5e transmission characteristics are required.

Advantages

This CAT5E U/UTP stranded cable combines flexibility and durability thanks to stranded AWG24 copper conductors and a PVC outer sheath. Its unshielded twisted pairs reduce crosstalk and ensure consistent signal integrity for typical LAN use. The 100 m reel format simplifies deployment and storage for installers and network technicians. The green jacket provides straightforward cable identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• Patch panels and horizontal cabling runs
• Device-to-switch or device-to-router links
• Temporary installations and cable management where flexibility is required

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m reel
• Cable construction: 4 pairs, stranded copper conductors
• Conductor size: AWG24 (stranded)
• Pair colors: Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White
• Jacket material: PVC
• Cable category: Cat5e (U/UTP)

How to use

Unspool the 100 m reel as needed and cut to the required length. Strip the outer PVC jacket and separate the pairs carefully to avoid untwisting more than necessary. Terminate the stranded AWG24 conductors with compatible RJ45 connectors or punch-down onto patch panels rated for stranded cable. Follow standard Cat5e wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) to ensure correct pinouts and maintain pair integrity for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, maintain proper bend radii and avoid tight kinks during installation. Keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources and avoid running parallel to power cables where possible. Use appropriate strain relief at termination points and test connections with a network cable tester to verify continuity and performance after installation.
