Cablu DVI-D Dual Link Equip 118935 5,0 m

The Equip DVI-D Dual Link Cable (5.0 m) is a black DVI-D to DVI-D digital video cable designed to transmit high-quality digital video signals over longer distances without loss or interference. With male DVI-D connectors on both ends, it connects DVI-enabled devices such as monitors, digital projectors, DVD players and HDTV displays. The cable complies with RoHS standards and is supplied in compact packaging for easy storage and handling.

Advantages

The dual-link DVI-D design supports higher bandwidth digital video transmission compared with single-link connections, reducing the risk of signal degradation over a 5.0 m length. The cable’s DVI-D male connectors ensure a secure digital interface between source and display devices. RoHS compliance indicates it meets environmental material restrictions.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop monitors to PCs with DVI-D output
• Linking digital projectors to video sources for presentations
• Connecting DVD players or set-top boxes with DVI outputs to displays
• Use with LCD and plasma HDTVs that support DVI-D input

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector 1: DVI-D (male)
• Connector 2: DVI-D (male)
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.477 kg
• Compliance: RoHS

How to use

Power off both devices before connecting. Insert the DVI-D male connector into the DVI-D input on the display and the other end into the DVI-D output of the source device, ensuring the connector pins align correctly. Secure any screws on the connector to prevent accidental disconnection. After connecting, power on the devices and select the DVI input on the display if required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable near large power supplies or sources of electromagnetic interference and do not overstretch the cable. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if pins are bent or the insulation is compromised.
