Cablu de rețea ShiverPeaks BS08-26075

The ShiverPeaks BS08-26075 is a 10 m Cat6a networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. Constructed with S/FTP shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold plating, it ensures consistent electrical contact and improved corrosion resistance. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance while the Cat6a specification supports applications that require gigabit and multi-gigabit performance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around the conductor pairs and an overall shield improves resistance to external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk, helping preserve throughput in noisy environments. The Cat6a rating enables support for higher bandwidth and faster data rates than Cat5e and Cat6, suitable for modern network demands. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide better conductivity and durability compared with standard plating, reducing the risk of signal loss at connection points. The 10 m length offers flexibility for typical workstation-to-switch or patch panel connections without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office workstations, switches, and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and video conferencing
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil around pairs + overall braid/foil)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Casing colour: Black
• Primary use: Ethernet data transmission

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (PC, router, switch or modem) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; allow a gentle bend radius to preserve internal pair geometry. For installations near electrical cabling or heavy machinery, position the cable to minimize parallel runs with power lines to reduce potential interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a cable for links up to 10 m between active equipment and patch panels or wall outlets. Avoid kinking the cable and maintain a bend radius at least four times the cable diameter. When terminating into structured cabling systems, follow the wiring scheme and testing procedures appropriate for Cat6a to verify continuity and performance.
