Cablu de rețea ShiverPeaks BS08-26055

The ShiverPeaks BS08-26055 is a 5 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. Designed for high-speed Ethernet networks, this cable supports higher bandwidth and improved noise immunity compared with lower-category cables. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for demanding network applications. Cat6a performance enables stable data transmission at up to 10 Gbps over standard distances, while gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The 5 m length offers a balance between reach and signal stability for typical desk-to-switch or rack-to-device connections.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contacts: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your computer, switch, router or other network device and plug the other end into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate ties or cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to 5 m in environments where reduced interference and stable 10 Gbps connections are required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and replace cables showing visible damage or wearing of the jacket or connector housing.

ShiverPeaks BS08-26055 integrates Cat6a specifications and S/FTP shielding to deliver reliable wired connectivity for typical home and business networking tasks.
