Cablu de rețea shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 2m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 2m is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses U/FTP (unshielded twisted pair with foil overall) shielding and comes with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing a reliable physical connection for devices such as routers, switches, NAS units, and computers. The 2-meter length and white outer jacket make it suitable for visible runs along desks or walls while maintaining a compact reach between networked devices.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over short and moderate distances. The Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths compared with earlier twisted-pair standards, enabling stable transfer rates for multimedia streaming, large file transfers, and online gaming. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and ease of installation. The cable’s construction emphasizes durability and consistent performance in everyday network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops, routers and switches within home and small office networks
• High-definition video streaming and multimedia setups
• Wired online gaming and low-latency applications
• Small server or NAS connections requiring stable Gigabit or higher performance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 2 meters
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: White
• Typical use: Ethernet data transmission for home and office networks

How to use

To use the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable, insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to link, such as a computer and a router or a switch and a NAS. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For best performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat7 cable for short indoor runs where higher shielding and reduced interference are beneficial. For fixed installations behind walls or in conduits, verify local installation requirements and select appropriate cable types; for longer runs, consider cables with higher length ratings or structured cabling when planning network layout.
