Cablu de rețea ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 2m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 2m networking cable provides a 2-metre connection with U/FTP (STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for wired Ethernet links that require higher bandwidth and reduced interference, this grey Cat7 cable supports stable data transfer for home and office networks. Its construction targets improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for modern applications such as gaming, streaming and high-speed file transfers.

Advantages

The U/FTP (shielded twisted pair) design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping maintain consistent throughput over the full 2 m length. RJ-45 terminations provide compatibility with standard network ports and devices. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequencies than Cat5e or Cat6, which can translate into better performance for demanding network tasks. The cable’s flexible outer jacket and standard length allow for straightforward installation and cable management in desktop and rack-mounted setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, gaming consoles and smart TVs to a router or switch
• High-definition video streaming and online gaming with reduced latency
• Local file transfers and LAN backups requiring reliable throughput
• Office networking between workstations, switches and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 2 metres
• Shielding: U/FTP (each pair foil-screened with overall braid/foil shielding)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Grey
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Gigabit and beyond depending on equipment

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the Ethernet port of your computer, console or other network device. Ensure connectors click securely into place to guarantee a reliable physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; maintain gentle curves to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. When connecting into patch panels or keystones, fully seat the connector and verify link lights on devices to confirm a live connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in combination with shielded network equipment and proper grounding where available. Avoid running the cable parallel to strong electrical sources such as power lines or large transformers for long distances. If used in high-interference environments, check connectors and cable routing periodically to ensure maintained signal quality.
