Cablu de conectare USB 2.0 Digitus AK-300105-018-E

Allows a reliable and fast connection of external USB devices to a PC over longer distances. It is designed for connecting devices with a USB B socket—such as external hard drive enclosures, scanners, or printers—to a USB host like a PC, notebook, or USB hub. Supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps (High-Speed).

Advantages

This USB extension provides stable connection quality over extended cable runs and supports high-speed data transfer up to 480 Mbps. It is compatible with common USB B-equipped peripherals and standard USB hosts, enabling straightforward plug-and-play installation without additional drivers in most systems.

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A (host) to USB B (device)
• Compatible devices: external HDD enclosures, scanners, printers and other USB B devices
• Maximum data rate: 480 Mbps (High-Speed USB)
• Intended use: connection over longer distances between USB host and USB B device

How to use

Connect the USB A plug to the USB host (PC, notebook or USB hub) and the USB B plug to the external device. Ensure both devices are powered if required. The operating system should detect the connected device automatically; install any device-specific drivers if prompted. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with devices and hosts that support USB High-Speed and keep cable length within the manufacturer's recommended maximum to prevent signal degradation.
