Cablu coaxial RG-59/U 10 m ShiverPeaks SP80098

The ShiverPeaks SP80098 Coaxial Cable RG-59/U 10 m is a 10-metre cable fitted with F connectors on both ends, designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Built to the RG-59/U specification, this cable supports common home entertainment connections and aims to minimise signal loss for stable picture and sound. The chrome-coloured connectors and blue cable jacket provide a professional appearance suitable for visible runs and installations.

Advantages

This coaxial cable combines a standard RG-59/U construction with F-type connectors on both ends to provide straightforward compatibility with set-top boxes, televisions and other consumer AV equipment. The design focuses on durability and signal integrity, making it suitable for everyday home use. The 10 m length allows flexible routing while maintaining a single-cable connection for composite coaxial signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting set-top boxes, televisions and satellite receivers
• Extending coaxial runs within home entertainment systems
• Temporary or permanent AV installations where a 10 m RG-59 cable is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-59/U coaxial
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: F connector on both ends
• Purpose: audio/video and RF signal transmission
• Cable jacket colour: blue
• Connector finish: chrome-coloured

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Screw the F connectors onto the corresponding threaded female F sockets of your devices until hand-tight; avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the connector. Route the 10 m cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks, and keep it away from strong electrical sources to reduce potential interference. After connection, power the devices and verify signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results, use this RG-59/U cable for runs up to 10 m in typical home environments. If you encounter weak signal or interference over longer distances, consider using a higher-specification coaxial cable or an in-line amplifier. Periodically inspect connectors for corrosion and secure fit to maintain signal quality.
