Cablu audio Microconnect AUDSPEAKER2-50C 50 m Alb

The Microconnect AUDSPEAKER2-50C is a 50 m speaker cable in white, intended for audio and A/V installations. It uses two conductors of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) with a conductor construction of 2x50/0.25 mm and a conductor cross-section of 2 x 2.5 mm². The cable outer dimensions are approximately 3.8 × 8.0 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for running between audio components in professional or domestic setups.

Advantages

The CCA conductors offer a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to pure copper while maintaining adequate conductivity for sound signal transmission. The cable’s white jacket gives a discreet, modern appearance for visible installations. With a 50 m length and a 2 x 2.5 mm² cross-section, the cable supports typical speaker connections in medium-length runs and is easy to route and terminate using standard speaker connectors.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting passive loudspeakers to amplifiers in home audio systems
• Audio installations in small commercial or public spaces
• Temporary sound setups for events and rehearsals

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Conductor type: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA)
• Conductor construction: 2 x 50/0.25 mm
• Conductor cross-section: 2 x 2.5 mm²
• Outer dimensions: 3.8 × 8.0 mm (approx.)
• Colour: White

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable to length. Strip the outer jacket and insulation to expose the conductors, taking care not to nick the strands. Terminate the conductors with appropriate speaker connectors (banana plugs, spade lugs or bare-wire terminations) compatible with your amplifier and speakers. Ensure correct polarity when connecting (+ to +, − to −) to maintain proper speaker phase.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid tight coils or sharp bends. Use suitable connectors and secure connections to minimise contact resistance. For long permanent installations or higher-power systems consider verifying power and impedance requirements; if in doubt, consult technical specifications of amplifiers and speakers.
