How to use

Secure the KWB 042816 auger bit in the drill chuck or quick-change hex adapter compatible with a 1/4" hex shaft. Select a suitable drill speed for the wood type—lower speeds for hard wood, medium to higher speeds for soft wood. Position the tip on the marked drilling point and apply steady pressure while keeping the drill aligned with the hole axis. Allow the bit to clear shavings periodically if drilling deep holes to avoid clogging.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves) and clamp workpieces securely. Match drill speed to wood hardness and clear accumulated shavings during deep drilling to maintain chip removal and prevent overheating. Inspect the bit before use for damage and replace if worn.
