Bec halogen Osram 64260 30 W

The Osram 64260 30 W halogen bulb delivers bright, high-quality light in a compact low-voltage capsule. Designed for use in special luminaires and medical fiber-optic systems, this halogen lamp offers instant start, reliable color rendering and improved efficiency compared with conventional lamps of similar size.

Advantages

Compared with standard lamps, the HLX versions provide up to 10% higher luminous efficacy and instant light. XIR versions feature an additional infrared coating on the glass bulb and xenon gas filling that can increase luminous efficacy by up to 30% and improve energy efficiency while maintaining the same power consumption. HLX models are dimmable and available with or without reflector.

Suitable for

• Lamps for special luminaires
• Medical fiber optics (HLX)

Key specifications

• Brand: Osram
• Model / MPN: 64260
• Power: 30 W
• Type: Halogen low-voltage capsule (HLX / XIR variants)

How to use

Install the halogen capsule into a compatible low-voltage fixture following the luminaire manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the lamp is seated correctly in the socket, use the appropriate transformer or driver for low-voltage operation, and avoid touching the glass with bare hands to prevent deposits that shorten lamp life. Replace only with the same type and rated power.

Recommendations

Use HLX versions where instant light and dimming are required; choose XIR variants when improved energy efficiency and higher luminous efficacy are priorities. Follow fixture and medical-equipment guidelines for safe operation.
