Amplificator Techly HDMI Cat 5e / 6 Compact 30m IDATA EXT-E30D

The Techly HDMI Amplifier IDATA EXT-E30D is designed to maintain HDMI video quality over extended cable runs using Cat5e and Cat6 cabling. Supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1080, the compact black amplifier boosts signal strength to enable reliable transmission up to 30 metres. With a small footprint of 35mm x 53mm x 18mm and a lightweight construction, the unit integrates into AV installations where space is limited.

Advantages

The device provides stable HDMI video amplification for Full HD signals, reducing degradation over medium-distance cable runs. Its support for Cat5e and Cat6 cabling allows for flexible infrastructure choices and cost-effective deployment. The compact and lightweight housing eases placement near equipment racks, behind displays, or inside junction enclosures without occupying significant space.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI signals to displays up to 30 metres away
• Home theatre setups where cable routing requires longer runs
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with central AV sources
• Retail displays or digital signage driven from a remote media player

How to use

Connect the amplifier between the HDMI source and the HDMI extender or cable run using the recommended Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Ensure all connectors are seated firmly and the cables are routed to avoid sharp bends or interference sources. Power the amplifier according to the system requirements and verify the output display is set to accept the incoming Full HD signal. If necessary, test different cable lengths within the 30-metre limit to achieve optimal picture quality.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cable in good condition and avoid running video cables parallel to high-power electrical wiring. For best results, keep cable connections dry and secure, and place the amplifier in a ventilated location to prevent excessive heat accumulation.
