Adaptor wireless Inter-Tech DMG-08 WLAN Bluetooth 150 Mbit/s

The Inter-Tech DMG-08 Wireless Adapter provides combined WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity through a USB host interface. Designed for devices that lack integrated wireless modules or need an upgrade, it supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards on the 2.4 GHz band and delivers a maximum data transfer rate of up to 150 Mbit/s. The compact, lightweight design makes it suitable for portable use and simple installation on desktops, laptops, and other USB-enabled equipment.

Advantages

The adapter integrates WLAN and Bluetooth functionality in a single USB device, reducing the need for separate dongles. Compatibility with common IEEE 802.11 standards ensures interoperability with a wide range of wireless networks and access points. Its 2.4 GHz operation and support for Wi‑Fi 4 (802.11n) allow for improved range and penetration compared with older single‑standard adapters. The small form factor and low weight make it unobtrusive and easy to transport.

Suitable for

• Adding wireless LAN access to desktops and laptops that lack built-in Wi‑Fi
• Upgrading an older device to support IEEE 802.11n (Wi‑Fi 4) speeds
• Providing Bluetooth connectivity for peripherals such as keyboards, mice or headsets
• Temporary or portable setups where a compact USB adapter is needed

How to use

Plug the Inter-Tech DMG-08 into an available USB port on your computer or compatible device. Allow the operating system to automatically detect and install drivers, or install the manufacturer’s driver if required. Once drivers are installed, use the system network settings to scan for and connect to available Wi‑Fi networks on the 2.4 GHz band, and pair Bluetooth devices via the Bluetooth settings interface. For optimal performance, place the adapter where it has clear line of sight to the wireless access point and avoid close proximity to large metal objects or other sources of radio interference.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for everyday web browsing, email, and light media streaming on networks that support 802.11n. For bandwidth‑intensive tasks or environments requiring dual‑band operation, consider a dual‑band or higher‑speed solution. Keep drivers up to date and position the adapter to minimize obstructions and interference.
