Adaptor USB-C i-tec U31TYPEC

The ADVANCE Series adapter allows connection of existing USB 3.1/3.0/2.0 devices—such as hubs, docking stations, video display adapters and external HDD enclosures—from i-tec or other manufacturers to portable devices equipped with a USB Type‑C port. The adapter is compatible with modern laptops and tablets that use the new Type‑C connector, for example Apple MacBook 2015 and Chromebook Pixel 2015.

Advantages

The USB Type‑C connector supports reversible insertion, so the adapter can be plugged in without concern for orientation. It preserves compatibility with a wide range of legacy USB peripherals (3.1/3.0/2.0) while offering a compact, single‑port solution designed for portability and everyday use.
