Adaptor DeLOCK 81571

The DeLOCK 81571 cable gender changer connects devices with a USB Type-A connector to devices using an RJ-45 interface. With a compact 0.15 m length and anthracite housing, this adapter provides a simple physical conversion between the two connector types for specific wiring or adapter scenarios. It is designed as a practical solution for setups where a direct mating of mismatched connectors is required without altering existing cabling or ports.

Advantages

This gender changer offers straightforward mechanical adaptation between USB Type-A and RJ-45 connectors in a compact form factor. The short cable length keeps connections tidy and reduces cable clutter. Its anthracite finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with typical office and networking environments. The adapter is intended to be durable for normal handling and repeated insertion cycles.

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type-A (male/female as per product form)
• Connector 2: RJ-45 (male/female as per product form)
• Cable length: 0.15 m
• Colour: Anthracite
• Application: Interface and gender adaptation between USB and Ethernet-style connectors

How to use

Align the USB Type-A connector with the corresponding USB port and the RJ-45 connector with the matching RJ-45 socket, inserting each connector gently until it seats. Use the adapter for short linkage where direct connection between the two connector types is required. Avoid forcing the connectors or applying excessive bending to the short cable to maintain reliable contact and mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short-term or permanent mechanical conversions only when electrical and signaling compatibility between connected devices is verified. Do not rely on this adapter to convert protocols or provide electrical conversion beyond basic physical mating; verify device requirements before use.
