Connect the VGA source to the adapter’s VGA input and attach the HDMI cable from the adapter to the display. Power the adapter if an external power supply is required by your specific configuration. Select the appropriate resolution on the source device (up to 1080p) to match the display. Allow a few seconds for the devices to negotiate supported resolutions and audio formats.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality VGA and HDMI cables, set the source resolution to one of the supported modes listed, and ensure the display is set to accept HDMI input. If audio is not detected, verify audio settings on the source device and try a different HDMI cable.
