Intellinet Patch Panel, Cat6, UTP, 48 porturi, 2U, negru

The Intellinet Patch Panel Cat6 UTP 48-Port 2U in black is a 19"-rack compatible panel designed to organise and manage network cabling for Fast and Gigabit Ethernet environments. Supporting IEEE 802.3 standards and equipped with 48 RJ-45 ports, this Cat6 UTP patch panel provides a structured backbone for network installations and helps maintain consistent port assignments across equipment.

Advantages

This Cat6 UTP patch panel offers high port density with 48 ports within a 2U rack space, enabling efficient use of rack real estate. Being Cat6 UTP, it supports improved performance for Gigabit Ethernet while remaining compatible with existing Fast Ethernet infrastructure. The 19"-rack compliance and standard RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and integration into existing network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Data centre and server room cable management
• Office network installations with Fast and Gigabit Ethernet
• Structured cabling in telecom and wiring closets
• Upgrading from Cat5e to Cat6 infrastructures

Key specifications

• Brand: INTELLINET
• Model / MPN: 560283
• Ports: 48 × RJ-45
• Category: Cat6 UTP
• Rack units: 2U, 19" compatible
• Standards: IEEE 802.3 (Fast/Gigabit Ethernet)

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack occupying 2U of space. Terminate horizontal cabling to the rear IDC or punch-down points according to Cat6 wiring colour codes, and connect active equipment using standard RJ-45 patch cords on the front ports. Label ports as needed to reflect port assignments and maintain an orderly documentation of connections.

Recommendations

For optimal performance keep cable runs within Cat6 specifications and avoid sharp bends or proximity to high-voltage power lines. Use quality Cat6 patch cords and follow TIA/EIA wiring standards when terminating and labelling to ensure reliable network operation.
