Ferăstrău circular SKIL 20V BL 3450CA

The SKIL 20V BL 3450CA circular saw is a cordless, brushless motor saw designed for efficient and precise cutting in woodworking and general construction tasks. It features a 6-1/2 inch blade diameter, a compact and lightweight housing, and an ergonomic handle that supports controlled operation during prolonged use. The brushless motor delivers consistent power and improved runtime compared with brushed alternatives, while the saw’s bevel and depth adjustment allow for accurate crosscuts and rip cuts in a variety of materials.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases cutting efficiency and battery runtime while reducing maintenance. A 6-1/2 inch blade offers a balance between portability and cutting depth suitable for most site and home projects. The lightweight construction and ergonomically shaped handle minimize operator fatigue and improve handling. Adjustable bevel and depth controls allow for precise setting changes without complex tools, and the saw includes a blade guard and safety features that support safer operation.

How to use

Install a compatible 6-1/2 inch blade following the manufacturer’s blade-mounting instructions and ensure the battery is fully charged. Set the desired cutting depth and bevel angle using the saw’s adjustment levers, clamp the workpiece securely, and align the saw’s guide shoe with the cut line. Start the motor and allow it to reach full speed before advancing the blade steadily through the material. Maintain firm two-handed control and keep guards and safety features in place during operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use blades matched to the material—carbide-tipped blades for clean cuts in plywood and hardwood, and general-purpose blades for dimensional lumber. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, verify battery charge and condition before starting, and inspect the blade and guard regularly. When performing angled cuts or deeper rips, make incremental test cuts to confirm settings.
