How to use

Power on the SocketScan S720 and enable Bluetooth on the host device. Pair the scanner with the host according to the device pairing procedure. Aim the scanner at the barcode on paper or a screen and press the scan trigger; LED indicators will show battery level, Bluetooth connection and scan status. After a successful read the decoded data will be transmitted to the paired device over Bluetooth for processing or entry into your application.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the scanner lens clean, ensure sufficient ambient lighting when scanning screens, and recharge the NiMH battery regularly. Use 2D barcodes where possible to improve data capacity and accuracy compared with linear 1D codes.
